Well, today is the day. I'm leaving in about an hour. I just can't believe this is happening. I'm going on an airplane. Now, I'm not the most calm person on the best of days when it comes to air travel but after Sept. 11, I have a new fear to add to my list.

"Oh no, some terrorist wackos are going to hijack the plane and crash it into the Capital or something!" I will think as we take off. I will probably spend most of the flight looking cautiously around for signs of box-cutters. Oooh. Must banish evil thoughts. Evil. Evil! EVIL!!!!!
